These are budgeting ranges, not quotes. Freight pricing moves with fuel, capacity, season and lane balance. The only binding number is the written quote we issue for your specific shipment.
Cost Drivers
What moves your rate up or down
Two identical pallets can price forty percent apart depending on where they are going and when. These are the levers that actually decide your number, and several of them you control.
- Freight class and density. In LTL, class is set by density, stowability, handling and liability. Better packaging often lowers class and cost.
- Lane balance. Lanes where carriers struggle to find return freight cost more in that direction.
- Season. Produce season, retail peak and the weeks before holidays tighten capacity and raise rates.
- Accessorials. Liftgate, residential, inside delivery, limited access sites and detention are billed on top of linehaul.
- Flexibility. A one or two day pickup window almost always prices better than a fixed date.
- Accuracy. Wrong weight or dimensions trigger reweigh and reclass fees, the single most common invoice surprise.

Charges Explained
Common accessorials in plain English
Liftgate
Charged when there is no dock and the freight must be lowered by a truck mounted lift. Typically $60 to $180 per stop.
Residential Delivery
Applies to homes and home businesses, and sometimes to sites carriers classify as residential. Usually $85 to $185.
Limited Access
Schools, military bases, storage facilities, farms and construction sites. Usually $75 to $200.
Detention
Charged when loading or unloading runs past the free time allowed, generally two hours. Billed hourly after that.
Reweigh And Reclass
Applied when the carrier finds weight, dimensions or class different from the BOL. Avoidable with accurate measurements.

Pricing and payment
Are quotes free?
Yes, always, and you do not need an account to get one. Send the shipment details and we will price it.
How long is a quote valid?
Domestic quotes are typically valid for seven days. International ocean and air quotes are often shorter because space and fuel pricing move quickly. Every quote states its expiration.
Is the monthly plan fee instead of freight cost?
No. The plan fee covers your service level, rate structure, reporting and account management. Freight is billed per shipment on top of it. The Starter plan has no monthly fee at all.
What payment terms do you offer?
New customers typically prepay or pay on delivery. Net terms are available on approved credit, usually after a short shipping history with us.
Can I cancel a plan?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled with written notice as stated in your service agreement. Enterprise programs follow the terms in their contract.

Yes, at no cost. Send recent invoices and we will identify overcharges, misapplied accessorials and classification errors, then show you what those lanes would price with us.
